College Boot Camp
5 day intensive course to:
- Guide you in completing your senior questionnaire
- Discuss how to choose colleges, create your list, and use Naviance for effective research
- Hear from former O'Dowd graduates who are currently students in colleges across the country so you can benefit from their experiences
- Review the college application process, deadlines, and logistics and help you set up a system that will help you avoid pitfalls and keep you on track
- Guide you in writing your college essay. You will brainstorm and work on ideas with counselors and write a strong first draft of the essay
- Complete the Common Application online (if applying to private schools) which opens its portal for 2010-2011 on July 1, and complete a paper copy of the UC and CSU applications
July 12-17, 9am - 12:30 pm. Cannot be transferred to another year.
