6:00 - 9:00pm

Reception followed by a sit-down dinner, event program and auction-style paddle raise in the Bishop John S. Cummins Center's, Knauss Family Gymnasium.

Our annual Transforming Lives Dinner has become O’Dowd’s premier fundraising event, where families, alumni, and friends come together each fall to make a lasting impact. By providing crucial funds, we ensure that an O’Dowd education is accessible to students who might not otherwise have the opportunity. The remarkable generosity of our community doesn’t just transform individual lives; it fosters a socio-economically diverse environment that enriches the experience for all our students. Together, we create a brighter future for O’Dowd. Join us in making a difference!

This year’s event will include:

  • A reception with live music by O'Dowd's own string orchestra

  • Seated dinner in the Knauss Gymnasium provided by Carrie Dove Catering

  • Keynote Speaker - Damon Covington '91, Fire Chief, City of Oakland

  • Student speakers who bring to life the experience of an O’Dowd education

  • Auction-style paddle raise for tuition assistance

  •

*Because alcohol will be served throughout the event, all guests must be 21+ years old.
